Your Preferred Coffee Drink
Use machines to grind your own or buy freshly ground to use immediately as freshness is essential in any recipe. Make it with water of good filtered quality just before the dish is prepared, if brewed coffee is necessary for the recipe. Coffee Meatloaf SauceIncreasing in popularity beyond kangaroo country is Australian Meatloaf. To a quarter cup of a favorite dry red and equal amount of Worcestershire sauce, half-cup of ketchup and quarter cup of water, add a tablespoon of instant coffee for making the sauce. To complete the mixture, mix some brown sugar with two tablespoons each of lemon juice and vinegar and an ounce of margarine.
Add the sauce after 30 minutes of the meat being cooked and bake it at 375F(190C) for 45 minutes more.
Espresso BrowniesTry to make this one to surpass even Alice B. Toklas' brownies. In a saucepan heat a stick and a half of butter, a cup of sugar and a quarter teaspoon of salt. Stir till well melted, a combination of four ounces of chopped semi-sweet chocolate and a teaspoon of vanilla. Then a tablespoon of your beloved finely ground dark-roast is added. Substitute it with two teaspoons of espresso granules to get an interesting variation.
Transfer it to a mixing bowl after stirring everything to get a good mixture and give few minutes for cooling. In a baking pan pour the product of a cup of flour, a fold of 3 eggs and the still warm mixture. Set it for cooling after baking it for 30 minutes. Get a yummy dish.
